*************************************
In early July of 2004, I was sent a copy of Antonio A. Boada's former book. The following is an analysis of its contents. Obviously fraud was a way of life and has been for a long long time.
The book is entitled, Upward Nobility! How to Make It Into the Aristocratic and Royal Ranks: The Guide to How, How Much, and Where, published in 1990. It is supposed to be written by Marina Alexander de Feurstenzandt. However, this is a made up person who does not exist. This is the third person Boada has fabricated out of the clear blue sky. (see chapters on Deceptions and Scams)
James J. Algrant, an expert on European history and heraldry, wrote that the book “is obviously written by Boada.” And Robert A. Powell in his article on Boada written for the “The New Times” of Miami in 1997, wrote, “A person who knows Boada well but did not wish to be identified confirms his authorship.” (see his article entitled “Diplomatic Impunity” on the website: www.miaminewtimes.com/issues/19970724/feature.html/1/index.html)
In addition, the book was published by Queensgate Associates, Boada’s defunct old company used to delude and swindle people out of their money. In other words, it has Boada written all over it. A number of identifiers will be presented as we look at the gross deceit and misrepresentations that abound between its covers. For example, much of the disclaimer is an exact quote from Boada’s newer disclaimer written in his 1998 book entitled, Instant Aristocracy: How To Make It Into the Titled Aristocratic and Royal Ranks NOW! (This book is often called, How to Buy Noble Titles--the publisher say it is the same exact book--Eden Press) And there are similar phrases and exact quotes here and there sprinkled through out it to show who the real author is.
Actually, Boada has his own style, which is easily picked out. The Law Society of England and Wales also noticed this. Mr. Boada had written them a few letters under various aliases or fake names used to hide his identity. This did more than a lot of my letters to show them, he was indeed a crooked and deceitful man–a person not to be trusted or believed.
The first few chapters are pretty good, then comes the deception. One is subtlety and carefully led into accepting the idea that the patriarchs of various ancient Christian churches can grant noble titles like the Catholic Pope. They fail to recognize that the Popes were, and still are, temporal rulers and hold the right to honor by virtue of that sovereignty. The point is, only sovereignty can act as a true and recognized fountain of honor for such things.
There is nothing wrong with a Methodist or some other Church leader giving out church titles, but a “baron” or “count” of some church is not to be equated to a true English Lord–precisely because monarchy was not involved. That is, no potentate or sovereign conferred the title. A church baron or duke pales into insignificance when compared to a true knight of Great Britian knighted by Her Majesty the Queen or by His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales by her permission. A Lutheran or other church noble title of “count” is like receiving the title from a club or college fraternity. There is no comparison. One is pretend, the other is the real McCoy, authentic, true and genuine.
Continuing in the book, Boada destroys the only bond the orthodox patriarchs have to sovereignty by showing that there are quite a number of them duplicating the same claims and titles. But international law and scholars on sovereignty only recognizes one heir–a single source. Schisms and major branches all claiming the same authority equate to a total loss of any legitimate claim to this, because no one source can be singled out as holding the perpetual hereditary right. Hence, before getting started, Boada, although claiming otherwise, shows that no rightful authority exists in any of these groups to create titles of nobility with the backing of the essential and absolutely necessary “royal prerogative” or divine right of kings--sovereignty. (see chapter three, pp. 16-17 and chapter four, pp. 18-23)
Boada continues on to signal out one phoney Patriarch of Antioch which he obviously invented or took possession of. Does it surprise you that this fake patriarch had the very same address as Boada’s illegally unregistered and fraudulent company known as British Feudal Investments, Ltd.? The connection between the two is obvious. It sitcks out like a sore thumb.
Boada’s history, as portrayed in his book, on the “ Ecumenical Orthodox Jacobite Church”–the church of his made up patriarch, is full of outrageous falsehoods. (see: " Scams2" and " Fake Titles") He calls this Church “ one of the most ancient and revered of the Orthodox levantine churches.” (p. 24) Yet no one has even heard of it. He claims it has “over approximately two million” members, which would make it one of the top 20 of the largest Christian religions. (p. 22) But no one have ever heard of them. Being a fake Christian religion, no wonder.
But the lies get even bigger. Boada writes that they maintain diplomatic service including ambassadors, consuls and diplomatic envoys in a number of countries. Such as, “The Netherlands, Belgium, France, the West Indies, Texas, and Italy. . . .” including permanent observers at “the General Assembly of the Western European Union, the World Court at The Hague, the Commonwealth of Nations and others.” (p. 22) Then he wrote that in 1990, they “were approved for United Nations membership as an accredited non-governmental organization. . . .” (p. 22) This is absolutely false. There is no truth in it. James J. Algrant, a well-known expert, wrote, “The United Nations says there is no such body accredited. . . .” (see www.maineworldnewsservice.com/caltrap/chivalri.htm) But Boada is not above lying through his teeth. This is a prominent part of his personality which he regularly manifests in his writings.
I have often wondered why Boada lies so much and so big, especially in ways that can be checked out and so easily debunked. I have wondered why he is not more careful. Because I have caught him over and over again in so many lies. But the master con man of them all explains this strange phenomena. Adolph Hitler wrote in his book Mein Kampf, “People are much more susceptible to the big lie than to the small one, for they already tell little lies every day. They cannot imagine that someone would actually fabricate a colossal lie.” Therefore Boada took courage and tried out the merits of the adage: "Anything repeated often enough, long enough or loud enough, becomes true.” But a filthy lie is still a filthy lie. You can’t build something good on something bad; or something right on something wrong; or something glorious and fragrant on something foul and putrid. Sooner or later every foundation is exposed for what it really is. And Boada's true colors are as ugly and foul as they come.
But Boada is not a very good liar even though he has deceived many people. He tends to inadvertently reveal how absurd his stories are, if you read them carefully. He states in his book that this “Jacobite Church has many twists and turns in its history” and “numerous schisms and regroupings.” (pp. 24, 123) He also included a history in the appendix, which states, “In 1964, after being vacant for several centuries, the Catholicate was revived by one of the Antiochene sects.” (p. 123) So there you have it–no continuity of authority. A beautiful disqualification of legitimacy as far as sovereignty goes.
In other words, this church claims to be a restoration. The sovereign authority, if it ever had any, was permanently and irretrievably lost for centuries. No new group can lawfully reclaim it by saying they are now the original when, in fact, they just started it up with a false claim. This is like taking a group of devout historians in a club that has been around for a few hundred years who believe so deeply and dearly in the ancient kingdom of Jerusalem that they make up the harebrained claim to the high and exalted royal right to claim their ancient sovereign rights. Where did they get the right–from there own looney belief, not from reality, not from a legally constituted and recognized sovereign who has the “royal prerogative” over this patrimony. No group, club or church can claim authority that they do not have. No matter how sincere, they cannot restore what they never possessed in the first place--the right of monarchy.
Nevertheless Boada claims that “the Holy See of Antioch took titular possession of many of the titles and estates of the dispossessed nobility in the Christian Levant. . . .” (p. 24) Is he saying that this group, rather than the Moslems took possession or sovereignty of the holy land after the Crusades? What a rewrite of history! But his claims gets even more laughable, if it wasn’t a despicable crime against real people who suffer damage therefrom.
For example, even though this church was supposedly started in 1964, Boada claims it has “centuries of respectability that make their legitimacy as an institution and a source of titles unquestionable.” (p. 29) Even though it is admitted that the church has been dissolved for several centuries and its history is convoluted and twisted, Boada says this church has “the most impressive sweep of 1,400 years of history and christendom which we have ever seen!” (p. 25) Impressive, well, frankly, sad, broken and missing.
Now for the finale, after cooking this church's goose or destroying all possibility of any sovereign legitimacy, Boada gives this church more authority than any king has ever had in terms of the high royal right to honor. Boada says his phoney Patriarch of Antioch has the right to rehabilitate or re-grant any vacant noble title on earth. But wait a minute, no kingdom has authority beyond its own patrimony or boundaries. How can Boada’s patriarch have suzerainty over the whole earth and all nations? Wow! What a big lie--certainly a whopper.
And it really gives one a tremendous feeling of confidence and comfort to know that Boada, a notorious con artist and liar’s own fake and now defunct Spanish College of Arms, that had absolutely no official standing or actual connection with the Kingdom of Spain, would accept all of the noble titles of this fake Patriarch and give them recognition or so-called credibility. That is like saying one of Boada's scams will accept and validate the utter falsehoods and sneaky deceit of the other. In other words, his house was not divided. He supports and encourages all his foul deeds with other deceptions.
After discussing true rehabilitations of titles in Spain and royal decrees that created them and proper address for such, Boada quickly turns the tables and says that his invented and fake Spanish College of Arms can do it for you, because “the Spanish kingdom has also vested in them the right to confer grants of arms and recognition of foreign ones.” He spuriously wrote, “King Juan Carlos’ government . . . delegated authority to the College of Arms of the Spanish Institute of Heraldry to do these functions.” (pp. 33-34) Thus, outright fraud rears it’s ugly head again. And who was the chief herald of this deceitful group, none other than Antonio A. Boada, the scoundrel himself, and this organization was headquartered on the Isle of Man, not anywhere close to Spain. You can, thus, look into the face of evil disguised as an angel of light. It is Boada’s buckler and shield.
After this Boada promotes another scam–that of Maria Pia and her strange claim to the throne of Portugal, which even her grandchildren reject. An excellent expose on this fraud was written by Guy Stair Sainty, a world renown scholar on European royalty and chivalry. (see: www.chivalricorders.org/royalty/fantasy/portugalfalse.htm) But after writing five pages on this farce, Boada, ever greedy, slippery and willing to make a buck, claims that the Privy Councilor of this fake royal family just happens to work Queensgate Associates, Ltd. Boada’s very own former platform for fraud and deception on the Isle of Man. In other words, if you want a title or knighthood from this rightfully rejected royal family, just line Boada’s deep pockets with your hard earned money. (pp. 36-40)
Boada then offers the services of Queensgate Associates, Ltd. to buy Lairdships, Baronies and Lord of Manor titles as well as adoption services and the arranging of marriages to noble and/or royal European families for money. (pp. 41-54)
The point is, he mixes fact with fiction in a blend that has the appearance of truth, then adds a big lie or two to draw you into his web of deceit and treachery. But he can’t seem to help make an obvious blunder now and then like the idea that of such great importance are the Lords of Manors, which is not even a noble title, that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth attends all the Lord of Manor galas with all the pomp and ceremony of a royal visit on an annual basis. (p. 44) No such visit have ever occurred that I know of.
On pages 69 to 84, Boada presents and recommends a number of phoney knighthoods including those of his fake Patriarch of Antioch and the phoney family that claims to be Portuguese royalty. He then tries to promote a few other phoney knighthoods. For example, the Order of the Cordon Bleu du Saint Esprit saying its members include Otto von Hapsburg, top ranking NATO generals, European politicians and nobles, etc. and then goes even more overboard by saying they have star studded galas every few months with “white ties, tails and full regalia” with so much pomp and ceremony that they are covered by television, yet no one has ever heard of them of this knighthood. They are not to be found on the internet or news anywhere. Guy Stair Sainty, a noted, well-known expert in chivalry, commenting on this supposed order stated, “That is a cookery award, for being a good cook.” (www.baronage.co.uk/2002/bfi1.html) It is not an order of chivalry. Boada is full of baloney to put it very mildly.
Orders of chivalry must have a proper and valid “Fons Honorum,” which can only be provided by a recognized sovereign power either regnant or non-reigning. Otherwise, the knighthood is bogus, pretend and fake. An organization may be a valid charity, but not a true knighthood without this fundamental and basic qualification. With this in mind, it is surprising that not one of the knighthoods he espouses has such. There may be an exception or two, but Boada always promotes counterfeits. And not any of them are listed with the International Commission on Orders of Chivalry, whose specialty is dividing the sheep (the true ones) from the goats (the false that are fake, pretend or made believe). (see: www.icocregister.org)
Then Boada addresses recognition, authenticity and authentification of noble titles and tries to say it really doesn’t matter, but a paragraph from page 28 says it all:
Any person seeking titles must also be concerned with the issue of verifiability. Titles whose source cannot or will not verify their legitimacy [like Boada did to me] will, in the end, wreck havoc on the social integrity of the holder, [which is why I have never, and cannot ever, use the title]. A person holding and ostentating a title that is unverifiable is likely to be listed in such ominous books and publications as the Dictionary of the False Nobility–a massive and authoritarian works that lists thoughts of bogus titles and their purported holders. Such a listing is a great embarrassment and has destroyed many social careers begun on the wrong footing. By obtaining a title of dubious legitimacy, far from advancing one socially, such a titles is likely to sink a person before he or she ever gets off the ground. (Note that this is practically identical to the same paragraph in Boada’s newer book on page 47 which is partly quoted in the " Challenge.")
Mr. Boada wrote that “recognition of a title must include:
a.) recognition that the title exists, and
b.) that the particular claimant involved has sole right to it.” (p. 111)
Interestingly, this last sentence is where he has given me the shaft. The fake noble title I bought was real in history for over a thousand years. It was, in fact, one of the Emperor of Germany’s treasured possessions, even it’s heraldic colors were added to the royal Prussian coat of arms along with about 52 others. (www.ngw.nl/int/dld/preussen.htm)
But the real problem, the core contention is that Boada will not provide me with proof that I am the sole owner of it. Hence, I can never, ever, worlds without end, be recognized as the true title’s owner. This is how I was short changed or left high and dry without a leg to stand on. He got $20,000.00 and I got a title I cannot claim is really my own. In other words, he got $20,000.00 and I got nothing. Is this fair or equitable? Boada claims to be a noble and a knight. Is this chivalry or nobility? Is there any wonder why I am outraged and boiling mad? Boada did give me the shaft and many others.
But the problem is actually much bigger and more horrid, because Boada cannot prove that I am the sole possessor. He knew that from the very start. He knew that the whole thing was a fraud, a scam, and that he was the perpetrator who makes a living by deceit, deception and plunder.
Would an honest man sell noble titles that he knew had a permanent defect, that was unsupportable and could never be authenticated or validated?–a title that so-called sellers would adamantly deny that they sold? The denial of the Imperial family that Boada had any lawful authority to sell me the title, meant that my ownership of this title had absolutely no foundation. I had been had. The whole deal was rotten to the core. I discovered that I had been duped, robbed and cheated.
Will Boada lift his little finger to help or fix things? No! Will he right his wrongs? No! Does he give a damn? No! Despite many invitations to correct things, all he ever did was attempt to shut me up or muzzle me to protect himself from other victims rather than provide proof he was legit. It is the law in England that, “. . . The seller must be able to prove that he has good title to that which he is selling.” (www.kevinboone.com/lawglos_unregistered_conveyancing.html) Does Boada or his solicitor, Roger Pitts-Tucker care that they broke the law, or that British Feudal Investments, Ltd. was never registered as required by the law and therefore operated illegally. No! They operate outside the law.
The point, well, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that Boada is a con man to the core who wants to get away with his crime. He doesn’t care what his crimes do to the lives of others. In my case, it meant bankruptcy. Paying me back for the phoney noble title would not come anywhere close to fixing the damage he has done to me and my family financially. But that is no concern to him. He would just as soon destroy me even further to support his lavish and self-centered lifestyle.
It is amazing to me that he warns of fake pseudo-princes and title peddlers and the damage they can do to you in his books and then does the very thing himself. He even claims to be the Head of an extinct royal house himself–HRH the royal sovereign Prince of Lusignan. (see the chapters: " Scams1," " Scams2" and “ New Discoveries1." ) Is there no end to his audacity to prevarication?
Well, what is to be done about this? Make official complaints, if you have been taken by him, to the FBI via www.ifccfbi.gov. Otherwise, this unscrupulous man will continue to be a thief and hurt many more people with numerous new schemes and new lies. The future is in your hands, please make it a better one.
Only if everyone makes complaints will something happen. It’s like the saying, “United we stand divided we fall.” Only when the authorities see that hundreds have been robbed and cheated, will they put a priority on this case. Go to “The Answer” for more information.
